A Tribute to our Founder

     May 20, 1972 - July 14, 2013.

Karin Reichensperger

Karin was born May 20, 1972 in St. Cloud to Charles P. & Constance L. (Forstner) Reichensperger. She founded the MESSAGE Program in 2003 and became its full-time, volunteer Executive Director. Karin made it her life goal to create and expand an organization that could help those in need. She made volunteering her life; living by her motto "Not only are we making a difference in someone's day, we're changing their life."

To Karin volunteering meant sharing your blessings with those in need. She enjoyed representing the generous donors that enabled The MESSAGE Program to make a difference in the lives of so many. She will be dearly missed by everyone she touched; from Central Minnesota, Minneapolis, to Guatemala, and borders beyond.

She is survived by her loving parents, Charles and Connie of St. Cloud, siblings, Lia Nistler of Cold Spring, Kay of St. Michael, Charles (Martha) of St. Cloud, and Diane (Keith) Nohner of Farmington; nieces and nephews, Tim Hoefer, Jake and Madison Nohner, Nichole and Alex Gonzalez; maternal grandmother, Veronica Forstner. Karin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
